Cratin Desert Divas January Sneak Peek Day 2 **replacement**

Hello my friends... So glad to be on Craftin Desert Divas's Blog today sharing with you my projects featuring Sweet Shop Stamp and Window Die for our January Products Release Sneak Peek.

Here are what I made
Project #1 : Sweet Shop Stamp
I totally adore this stamp set designed by my friend Mindy.  This cute little girl is so sweet and adorable.
As always, I did one layer card and had a great time masking and inking them.  I began by stamping the tree image from Build A Scene stamp on masking paper and traced the outline so I would know where should I stamped all the candies goodies yummy sweets..  After I stamped all those yummy candies I then masked them off... and stamped the tree image.. Now we already have our candies tree.. :)

I stamped the little girl with her turtle friend (isn't the turtle the cutest) beside her and filled the ground with more candies.. :)   And then started to color all the images with various copic markers.  I masked all the images off again and used green distress inks for my grass scene.  I used Fancy Frame Dies to cut off the panel and stamped the sentiment.... And it's done!

Project # 2 : Window Dies and Sweet Shop Stamp
This die is huge and it's beautifully cut.  It's covered the whole front panel.
I began by cutting the Window die from Doodlebug Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints Paper pad both pink and dark grey colors as well as on white card stock.  I cut off the side of the windows and layered them onto white window panel.  I also insert the acetate in between them.

For the inside panel, I used the window grids as a guide to stamp my candy shop scene. Once it fully opened it showed....

I colored all images with copic markers.  I also masked them off and used distress inks to create the wall and the floor.  I intentionally cover the top part of the window so that when it's opened it revaled the sentiment.

Hope you like both of my projects and Have a great time with our January products release.  Thank you for stopping by.

From All Of Us @ CDD

Happy New Year 2017 to all...

Hi..  I am very pleased and happy to be on Craftin Desert Diva's Blog for this speciall day.  I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of CDD to wish you all a Wonderful New Year, the most incredible 2017...Excellent Health and Happiness.
And that brings it to my card project for today.

Thru out the year that I've been with CDD... I really do fall in love with the stamps that CDD offered.  It's so hard to choose only some of them to feature in this card otherwise the A4 size card will not be enough space for me to set my scene... *lol*

I also did what I love to do most with my card is scene creating with one layer card and copic coloring... Yes I used alot of CDD stamps as well as masking papers and also need to refill some of my copic markers...

The most difficult part of creating this card is which stamps should I used... :)  I started by using the Mermaid from Magical Wishes stamp I then masked her off so that I can stamp the coconut tree from Island Paradise stamp as well as the pond from Build A Scene 2 stamp and added in the 2 fishes there as well.

I then started building up my sentiment so that I could estimated where should I stamped my gennie and her flying carpet.  The sentiment stamps that I used are Tiny Sentiments stamp and Elegant Brush Script stamp.  And the gennie and flying carpet are from Your Wish stamp set.

From there I started builing up my ground scene by stamping the adorable panda holding Love Ya sign from Panda Pals stamp.  I masked him off  and stamped the cute Lemur from Snow Day stamp floating and masked him off as well so that I could stamped the log from Build A Scene stamp for my lemur to sit on.

I then stamped the Llama from Santa's Helpers next to the log and I also masked her and the log off and then stamped the Yeti from Yeti To Party stamp in between and handrawn a heart as if he was holding it.  From there I filled the gap between the mermaid and the llama with my pola bear from Chilly stamp.

And here's again my entire card 8" x 5 1/2"

And that's all for the stamping and masking *lol*  and I colored them all with copic markers.  To finish it off I did my cloud stencil with tumble glass distress ink and mounted the panel onto my card base.... WooHoo...  I hope you enjoy my scene and like my coloring... Once again.... Happy New Year to YOU all...from all of us at Craftin Desert Divas....
