Peek A Boo... Someone New

Hi there friends...
Today I am so happy to be on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog sharing with you my little project using Tiny Treasure stamp.

Here's what I made for you...

 And Here's the closer look

This is how I created it

I used the pattern paper from Doodlebug Spring Garden paper pad and cut to the size of my card base and began to cut the circles out from pattern paper by nesting the smallest one inside the biggest one.  I used 3 sizes of circle dies and I used the middle circle die to cut out my brown paper so I could layer it below my smallest circle.  I also stamped the baby boy and the mobile from Tiny Treasure stamp set.  For the mobile decorations, I used the images from Plan It Out stamp set and fussy cut it.

I colored all images using various copic markers. I then used double form tape for my main panel as well as brown circle panel (I layered the baby boy image on top of that).  For the ring cirlce, I attached directly to the card base.

Below here is how I assembled my card front panel.  I attached small circle form tape behind my mobile piece and inserted it in between my 2 circle panels.  I then attached the smallest coin ontop of the circle form tape then turned it over and attached it to my front panel .

This is how it looks from side view.

Tips : peeled off the double sided tape at the top first and once it's on the correct position then peeled the rest of the form tapes off.

At This point I realized that my mobile could only turned/moved half way due to form tapes that I attached at the sides of my panel.  So I did some small corrections by cutting away both sides of my form tapes to giveway the coin to smooth slide thru the track.  And it worked!

Here's the card in action!
I hope you like it....  Thank you for stopping by and Have a wonderful day!

Here is what I made..
Today card is clean and simple and no masking *lol*

I began by stampping the Coconut Tree from Island Paradise stamp on the left side of my white card stock panel.  I then stamped the coconut drink beside it.  I used mirror image stamping technique for the second coconut drink and colored them with various copic markers.  I also used copic markers to color the sand and sea.  To make the small waves where the water meet the sand I used white gel pen and dotted along the line.

I then did my cloud stencil and cut the panel by using Fancy Frame Dies and stamped the sentiment from Wishful Thoughts stamp set and attached the panel onto my craft card base.  It's done!

We also offer SVG stamp outlines for .99 they work perfectly with your cutting machine. You must have a program that opens these files. This is a great alternative to coordinating dies and much less expensive.

Here's what I've created for you...

I have 3 projects for this release for you
Project #1 : Scoops
1st I stampted the lovely bear and masked his paw so that I could create the stack of ice cream scoops and made him holding it.  I then stamped the cherry on top of the first scoop of ice cream.  I combined 2 sentiments from this Scoops stamp set and hand written the word "with" to join them together.  And of course I colored all with various copic markers and cut the panel using Fancy Frame Dies and attached onto my read card base.  I finished it off by using Ladybug Doodlebug Sprinkles.

Here's the closer look

Project #2 : Tiny Treasure
I began by cuttng gold glitter paper using Picture Frame Dies as well as from white and black card stocks.  I attached the inner gold glitter paper frame and windows cut out except the left square window onto black layering paper.  For the square window, I used the square piece from white card stock cut out, stamped the baby and colored him/her with copic markers.  For the rectangle window, I used the piece from black card stock and embossed the baby feet with platinum embossing powder.  I then cut the panel shorter and rounded all 4 corners.  I also stamped and embossed the sentiment on black card stock and made it into a banner.  I finished it off by using Ladybug Doodlebug Sprinkle for embellishment.

Here are the closer look

Project #3 : Plan it out
This Plan it out stamp set is for Planner lovers but it's not limited to use for something else.  I created the accessories.

Here are the closer look for each of them
A : Customize ribbon
I used StazOn black ink to stamp onto the ribbon.  Vesafine ink and Dye inks like Memento are not working here.

B : Mini Wooden clothspins and Paper clips embellishments
I colored them with copic markers and fussy cut them out.  I used multi medium to attached them all and a little bit of washi tape at the back of paper clip for more secure.

C : Bottle cap charms or magnets
I used 1 inch circle punch for these bottle caps.  I attached them using multi medium onto the cap and waited for them to completely dried.  I also attached True Love sequins for extra decoration.  Once everything dried I used glossy accents to cover them all.  I plan to use them by punching the whole on top and hang them as charms for my mini album or they can be used as magnetic embellishment.

I hope you like all my projects and have a wonderful time with the hop.

Missing You

Hello there Crafty Friends...
I am so glad to be back here again on Craftin Desert Divas Blog.  I'd like to share with you today my project showcasing Farm Living and Build A Scene 2 stamps.

Here's what I have for you...
I've seen so many beautiful cards using sportlight stamping technique.  So I decided to try it out and I think I like it!

I began by stampping the cutie pig from Farm Living stamp and masked him off so that I could stamp the pond from Build A Scene 2 stamp as if the pig was missing his companion while having fun at the mud puddle. :)

I also stamped the pond on another white card stock for my backdrop panel.  I then colored the scene with various copic markers having colorful colors on the pig panel and grey colors on the backdrop panel.  I used Stitched in Circle Dies to cut off the pig panel and temperary put it on top of my backdrop panel so that I could estimate where to cut the backdrop panel using Fancy Frame Dies.

At this point I felt that it's abit too plain so I stamped the cattails stamp from Build A Scene 2 at the lower left and also lined it up and stamped on my circle panel.  Thanks to the MISTI :) I knew that my cattails will overlapping the rocks.  So I stamped the cattails image again twice on white card stock. I colored one in colors and another one in grey tones.  Yes I did fussy cut them and attached them respectively.

I then popped up the circle panel on form tape and carefully placed it on top of the grey panel then onto black card base.  To finish it off I used Sweetness Sequin Mix and sprinkle here and there.

Here are the closed up look
