There For You!

Hi there folks...

Hope you all having a great week.  I am stopping by to share with you my special card created to support and build up awareness of copyright and intellectual property theft.  "There For You" stamp from Craftin Desert Divas is specially designed for this cause.

There are many stamp companies that their stamp designs have been stolen for the pass year.  I do understand that not everyone can afford to pay for the branded stamps.  My intention of writing blog post is to create and spread the awareness of IP theft and how it effect the owner/creator as well as the consumers just like you and me.

But first let me show you my card :)

Our poor unicorn used to be bright and shine as rainbows but my card here is reflected the down and doom unicorn that is forced to be in dirt.

Im sharing my knowledge here and it's my personal point of view.

We all enjoy the cute and adorable graphic designs from each original stamp that available in the market.  Each step along the way took time to create one(s).  The stamp companies then buy those graphic designs if they are unable to create by themselves.  They then proceed to manufacture those graphic designs, packaging them and promoting them.

In the other hand, those who steal the designs Do Nothing.  Yes they manufacture the stamp but at what cost.  The quality of the stamps are incomparable from photopolymer stamps.  If you have to buy something (yes, it's obviously cheaper) but it can't produce the clear image and you have to do correction before you even start creating. I think it's totally wasting of your time and money.  I experienced the silicone stamp before and I totally felt I wasted my money.  I rather save a bit more and get the good ones.

Like I said I understand not everyone can effort to buy branded stamps but there are always an option for you to enjoy crafting, coloring as many took this hobby for stress relieve like I am.  Digital stamps are the option.

I know we can't ask everyone not to buy the fake ones.  It's your choice to choose which one is best for yourself.  By supporting the fake stamps it's also mean supporting the theft to continue stealing.  You won't feel the pain if they're not steal from your pocket.

I mumbling more than enough and I hope my points get across the board.
Here is my card one more time :)

Thank you for stopping by and Have a Wonderful day.

Hugs,
Jan

I had a ball craking my head off how am I going to interprete the photo inspiration and I saw coffee/tea images with the warmth color tones.  And I immediately thinking off Coffee Wizards stamp set.
And here is how I planed my card.

After I cut my main panel from white card stock with Crazy Stitched Frame dies.  I began to stamp the images from Coffee Wizards stamp and arranged in the scene that the little cutie wizard ram casting her coffee spell.

I drawn horizon line to devide the ground and the wall as well as mapping where my light from her magic wand going to be and where is the refection of the light.

I then used light gray copic marker to draw lines for bricks wall.

Using copic markers to color those bick and ground.  They do not have to be perfect shading because I later used colorless blender solution on my rag and tapped repeatedly on those wall for textures (I learned this technique from the amazing Kathy Rac from the daily makers) and I used darker brown colors markers to make some dots on the ground.

Then time to color all the images.  I always did my background first just in case I make mistake so I don't have to color the main images again.  And all I left to do was heat embossed with white embossing powder on the sentiment.  Oh and also I used silver metalic gel pen for those sparkling.

Here is the coloser look after it's done.

I adhered my main panel on black card base and called it's done.  I  hope you like it and joining us for the challenge.  Thank you and have a nice day.

Hugs,
Jan

Card #1 : Holiday Sweaters stamp

I created this single layer card similar to my previous cards but using Holiday Sweaters stamp (love this cutie and an adorable kitty).  Colored them with copic markers and used green blue distress ink for the sky.  I used the Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies for my decorative edges.  I also dropped Polar Frost sequins here and there to accent my card.

Card #2 : Winter Fairies stamp

It's another Clean and Simple card, I colored this adorable fairy with copic marker and used yellow distress ink for the glowing light at the wand.  I also used Inside Scalloped Rectangle die for my decorative edges.  To accent my card by adhered Pastel Paradise sequins here and there.

Card #3 :  Snow Happy stamp

I had so much fun combining the Yeti Fun stamp since it also has the yeti making snow angel :)  Again I colored all the images with copic markers and used Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies for decorative edges.   I also used the Liquid Applique marker for snow effect as well as glossy accent for some dimension.

Card #4 : Mixed Yeti Fun, Skating By and  Arctic Pals stamps

These stamps are coordinated very well together.  I selected the images that holding coffee/tea cups.  The bear is from Arctic Pals stamp, Yeti from Yeti Fun stamp and Penguin is from Skating By.  I used Window Pane dies for my background and used distress oxide inks for each panels.  I also used Snowflake Flurries stencils for the top panel as well as Polar Frost sequins to accent my card.

Here is what I have for you today showcasing :
Arctic Pals stamp

Are these cuties from Arctic Pals super stinkin cute?  I made this card similar style from yesterday card but I used another border die from Fall Border dies (did I tell you I love this border dies haha)

Here is how I prepared my card

Once again I stamped my image as well as the sentiment onto white card stock and cut it with Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies.  I also created my border mask from post-it tape.  Please ignore black sooth distress oxide ink.  I changed my mind later not to use it :) *lol*

I created the mask for the bear as well as altered the boder die masking.  I wanted to have only 1 house on the hill side and that's super easy to do.  Ink blending the sky with broken china, faded jeans and salty ocean distress oxide inks.

Colored those bad boys and the border scene with copic markers.  I used C3, C1 and C0 to create those snow lines for dimension as if there were few snow hills.

Here is how the completed card looks

I used Polar Frost sequins to accent my card (gota give some love to those yummy sequins from CDD) :) as well as glossy accent on the polar bear hat.  Adhered the main panel to black card base and it's done!

I have more projects to share with you tomorrow for Day 1 November Release.  So stay tune!  Thank you for stopping by and see you tomorrow.

Hugs,
Jan
