I have 2 cards to share with you today.
Card #1 : Snow Happy stamp

How could I resist not to make a card using this super duper cutie trolls especially with the mushroom? *lol* I couldn't!  and I made what I do best... single layer card :) *no surprise*

Here is how I prepared my card.

As always, I stamped this cutie from Snow Happy stamp and cut my main panel with Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies.  I love the white border reverse scalloped around that frame my panel.

I mapped where I wanted my growing area to be with Y000 copic marker as to remind myself for the high light area.  Im quite a heavy handed crafter *lol*

I then started smashing my blue tone copic markers from darkest toward the growing light.  I have to admit that it's not that easy to make it gradient looks.  I also mapping my grass area because I wanted my image to be positioned as if it's on the ground surounded by grasses.

Im not really happy with the hard lines so I decided to used colorless blender marker to make those small circles.  I think it helps more or less to distract the attention from those hard lines and drawn the eyes to the center of the card.

Here is how it looks.
I heat-embossed the sentiment from Dreamland stamp with white embossing powder and adhered it to my red card base.

Card # 2 : Skating By stamp

Ready for another single layer card?  This Skating By stamp has lot of fun images skating around all over the places.  I tried to give the prospective right that the cutie bunnie is smaller than other images and she supposed to be a bit far away.

Here is how I prepared my card.

Using Fall Border dies, the awesome tree boder, as a mask.  I stamped those cuties as well as the sentiment onto my main panel which was cut from Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies. I positioned the mask border dies and began to creat my background (I love this combination of distress oxide inks) using fired brick and wild honey distress oxide inks.

Took off the masking is always gives me and "Ah" moment :)  I then begain to color my scene with various copic markers.  I did went back with black marker to shapen those words sentiment and used glossy accent on the hats of bunny and walrus.  And here is the look of the completed card one more time

I hope you like both of them as much as I do... Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to see you again tomorrow for Day 5 :)

Hugs,
Jan
