Here is what I made..

I started by cutting green cardstock using Fancy Frame Dies for both scallop frames and cut the inner part to make them window scallop frames.  From white card stock, I then began to ink with light blue ink with my clouds stencil to make my sky background. Then I cut it to fit my small window frame.

I used the hill die from Outdoor Landscape Dies to cut out 2 hills, one to fit the small frame and another one to fit the bigger frame.  I then stamped 3 small pandas from Panda Pals stamp set 3 times for each images.  Each of the panda I colored 1st ones only the ears, 2nd ones only the eyes and feet and the 3rd ones I colored on faces and bodies.  I also stamped alot of bamboos, some of them stack on top of each other to make it taller and some are individule bamboo.

I then colored all images with various copic markers and fussy cut them out.  The ones that I colored only the ears I cut the whole image as one. The ones that I colored faces and bodies I cut away the ears and the last ones I cut out only eyes and feet.

I used form tape to pop up everything and arranged the scene.  For big window scallop frame I double the form tape for extra dimension.

Here is how it looks after popped everything up.

And how I arranged the bamboos at the corner of my card

I used the bracket banner die from Fancy Frame Dies to cut out vellum and stamped the sentiment also from Panda Pals stamp set.  I then attached at the corner of my small window scallop frame as shown below.  And it's all done!

Thank you for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day!

Best Of Friends

Hello Friends...
It's Jan here from handcraft hobby.  Today I am on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog sharing with you my little projcet.  Watercoloring is in trend right now so I thought I'll give it a try :).
And here are my cards..

I created these 2 cards using the same technique just different tone of colors.  I began painting my background using liquid watercolors to create my landscapes.  After that I left them aside to dry.

I then using Fancy Frame Dies to create my frames from black cardstock. I then drawn inner frame with pencil at all 4 sides. And before I cut them out I stamped black ink and clear embossed my images using the lovely cat couple from Lovies stamp set at the bottom of my drawn line as if they were sitting at the bottom of the window frame.  I then cut only 3 sides of my inner frame out with my x-acto knife (except the bottom parts).  Then I cut around my image left the bottom part of the cats still attahced to my frame.  So now I had my cat couple still attached to the frames.

After the watercolor panels dried I stamped the sentiment which also from Lovies stamp set onto my panels.  I then popped up my frames with form tape and adhered them on the watercolor panels.  Then all attached to my card bases.

Here is how the cat couple look like up closed

And here is my sentiment up closed

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Here is what I made..

I began to watercolor my background landscape using various of green and blue distress inks and left it aside to dry.  I then stamped the bunny from Chilly stamp set and the bird couple from Lovies stamp set (January release) on white card stock.  I also hand-drawn the branch for the birds to sit on and colored them all with various copic markers then fussy cut them out.  I then cut vellum slightly bigger than the size of my card front and torn the edges to make it abit smaller than my main panel.  After the watercolor panel dried, I temporary put vellum piece on top of it and positioned my images on the vellum and then adhered them.  I also stamped the sentiment from Lovies stamp set below the birds.

Here is how the bunny at closeup look

And here is how the bird couple and the sentiment look like.

Before I adhered the vellum piece to my main panel I also embellished with Sweetness Sequin Mix above the birds.  I then put glue at the back of vellum and attached on top of my watercolor panel.  And it's done.

Thank you for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day!

Craft Tip Tuesday - Mirror Stamping

Hello Friends...

It's Jan here.  Today I am on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog sharing with you my Craft Tip Tuesday - Mirror Stamping Technique.

Here is the stamp and image that I used for this mirror image technique

I used mini stamp Slow for this technique due to the image is not so much in details which is perfect for this technique.

I have made a short video clip for easy understanding.. and I hope it will be helpful.

What you need to prepare for this technique are

1. Juicy ink pad - Enough ink will make the transferred image clearer.
2. Stamp of your choice - Less details stamp will give a better image.
3. Card stock - Smooth card stock will allow the image to be transferred better.
4. Acetate sheet.

Hope you give it a try.

Thank you for stopping and here is the CDD product that I used.

Craftin Desert Divas - February Linky Party - Hearts

Here is what I made..

I first made a template from Heart of Heart Dies by cutting it from a thick cardstock.  I then mixed various of distress inks (in this case rainbow colors) to white texture pastes.  I put the template on top of acetate sheet and then used palette knife to spread the colored pasted onto it in rainbow colors order.
Then left it aside to dry.

Here is the closer look

From the leftover colored pastes I used them on a stencils for my hedgehogs' ground and left it aside to dry too.  I wanted to utilize all the pastes that I have left so I split some water over the pastes and created my watercolor panel.

Here is how the stencil piece and watercolor background look like

I stamped the lovely hedghogs twice from Lovies stamp set onto white card stock.  I then colored them in various copic markers and fussy cut them out.  I also cut twice the Grass Die from Outdoor Landscape Dies from green cardstock to decorate my scene.

To prepare my cardbase (size : 4 1/4" x 11"), at the long side, I scored at 5", 5 1/2" and 6".  I folded all the scored lines into mountain fold and temporary adhered them together. I then cut out just a hair at the top for slotting my acetate sheet in and adhered both sides, back and front, with score tape.  Then I started to decorate both sides with my grass die cut pieces and then the hedgehogs at the center.  I then stamped my sentiment and I called it done!

And here is how it look when the card is fully opened.
And it can be viewed from both sides.

Thank you for stopping by and have a pleasent day!
