Oh Slow Life

Hello there my lovely crafty friends... Today I am on Craftin Desert Divas Blog sharing with you my project I made using Peek A Boo Animals stamp set

Here's what I created :
I have to admit that I purposely made this card just to use this Sloth image from Peek A Boo Animals with particular sentiment "Oh Slow life" and altered the sloth's eyes to be half closed like the movie Zootopia.... I love Mr. Flash from the movie :)

This card is quite simple, I stamped the hat and masked it off then I stamped the Sloth toward the left side of my panel and hand-drawn the tree for him to hang on. I also stamped the Fence at the bottom right of my panel and also the Leave.  Both images are from Build A Scene stamp set.

I colored all images using various copic markers.  I used the 2nd largest die from Fancy Frame Dies to cut my panel out and mounted onto a blue card stock.

Here's the closer look at the image
I used 2 stamps set to build my sentiment. One is from Wishful Thoughts stamp set for the words "Oh" and "Life". And another one from Slow mini stamp set for the word "Slow".  I used masking tape to mask off the words that I didn't want before I inked them up.

I then used my cloud stencil to do my background.  Picture Frame Dies become my favorite die to make my card base.  I cut the panel 3 times. One I dried embossed with woodgrain embossing folder and attached to another one of the panel.  The last one I scored about half an inch from the edge.  I used strong double sided tape at the flap and attached it to my front panel.  I then adhered my main panel using foam tape onto my woodgrain card base.  To finish off my card I sprinkled Moonlit Kisses sequins around the sentiment.  And my card was done!

I hope you like my Mr Flash and Thank you for stopping by.

Our Sponsors for this Linky Party are:

One 4"x 6" stamp set
One Digi Stamp of choice

Here is what I made..

I started off with stamping small rose and leave from Flowers In Bloom stamp set onto white card stock, masked it off and stamped another 2 roses for both yellow and pink.  I then drawn a curve to make my flower bush scene.  I did the same masking technique with the Rabbit from Peek A Boo Animals stamp set with the Bucket image from Farmers Market stamp set and also the Wheel Barrel and the Carrot from Farmers Market stamp set.  I stamped the Toucan from Flew By mini stamp set and hand-drawn the tree.

I colored all the images with various copic markers and fussy cut them out.  I also stamped the sentiment from Peek A Boo Animals stamp set on vellum and cut it out by using the smallest scallop oval from Fancy Stitched Label Dies.

Here's the closer look

I prepared my card base using Doodlebug - Spring Garden Paper Pad.  I used the Hill from Outdoor Landscape Dies to cut the paper out for decorative edge.  I then adhered the pattern paper to my card base.  I used foam tape on the Toucan and the flower bush for some dimensions and I doubled foam tape on the rabbit to make it popped up more.  For the tree trunk and the wheel barrel I adhered directly to the pattern paper.

Here's the closer look for dimensions.

I also stamped another sentiment from Wishful Thoughs stamp set at the bottom of my card.  I can't bear to see it blank :)

Here's the closer look for the decorative edge and sentiment.

To fishish off my card I decorated a little bit with Melon Drop sequins.  I hope you like my "imagination" garden.. Have a Great Day!

Grandma Best Hugs

Hello Crafty Friends...  Hope your week has been good so far... I am sharing today a card that I made for entering Lawnscaping Challenge # 128 Sketch Challenge...

Here's what I created

I made this card for my kids to give to their grandma for this coming Mother's Day!  I used Mom+Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn.  I did some masking at the mian image for the little one to peek out behind grandma :)  I then mounted the panel onto black card stock.  For the flowers strips, I also used masking technique instead of using washi tape or paper strips.
I colored the image with various copic markers and used distress ink for the sky and the ground.

Hope you like it and Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a great day!

Flowers In Bloom Note Cards

Hello my crafty friends...
Today I am on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog sharing with you my projects using.....
Flowers In Bloom stamp set

Here's what I created :
I made a couple of cards for each flower in this Flowers In Bloom stamp set.  They are great to use with many type of occasions like Thinking of You, Happy Birthday or Thank You cards.

I did all cards using the same technique of masking and watercoloring. I first stemped and masked the flowers and arranged them in the positions that I like onto watercolor paper.  I colored the images and backgrounds with intense watercolor pencils .  After they dried, I use Fancy Frame Dies the biggest scallop die to cut all the panels.

For my card bases, I stamped the background using Across The Borders stamp set to give them some textures.  I then position my watercolor panels toward the top left corner of my card bases offset them a little bit to give them some styles
As and when I need, I can just adhere my sentiment and they are all ready to be mailed out!
The sentiment that you see here, I printed out computer using some simple fonts.

Here are the closer look for each flower

I hope you like them and Thank you for stopping by...
