Birthday Cards Stash No Coloring Required

Hello everyone...

I'm back to share with you today how I created multiple cards using one stencil with distress inks and no coloring required.   Here is what I created for you.

I played around with the new stencil from Craftin Desert Divas called Polygon stencil.  I love the geometric shapes and imagine what I can see thru all these triangle shapes.  I saw quite a few of them but let me share with you how I created these set of cards using this stencil with some distress inks, die cuts and sentiments stamp.

I placed the stencil onto white card stock and masked off the areas that I didn't want to be inked and formed the shapes of bird head with some used post it tapes (I also see flowers, dog, bunny and flying bird from this stencil).

I then inked all the area with distress oxide inks in wilted violet, broken china, squeezed lemonade and worn lipstick for this first card.

Here's what it looked like after taking off the stencil.  I cleaned my stencil with wet wipe and let's it dried before my next card.

For this second card, I used seedless preserve, wilted violet and shaded lilac distress oxide inks.

My third card, I used squeezed lemonade, worn lipstick and  carved pumpkin distress oxide inks.

I put back the stencil and dust the white area with stencil brush and hickory smoke distress oxide ink for some contrast.

Here's three of them after done all the inking.  I then cut all the panels with Crazy Stitched Frame dies and played around of die cut words - Happy, Sending and Wishing dies. And the sentiment stamp that I used is from Sending Sentiments stamp.  I also sprinkled some CDD sequins here and there for all the cards.

I hope you like them and give this technique a try..  Thank you for stopping by and Have a great day.

Hugs,
Jan
