Reach For The Stars!

Hi everyone... I am glad to be on Creaftin Desert Divas' Blog sharing my little project with you today.  Using Fiesta Time, This & That and Prickly stamps

And here is what I made

I love the encouragment sentiment "Reach for the stars even if you have to stand on a cactus" from This &That stamp and I think the little chiwawa from Fiesta Time stamp is a perfect match to be on the cactus which is from Prickly stamp and dream away.

I first cut the white card stock from Picture Frame dies and masked the four sides off for doing night sky ink blending with distress inks.  But before I did the background blending I stamped the cactus and flower from Prickly stamp as well as the Chiwawa from Fiesta Time stamp to stand on top the cactus.  I masked them off then began to make my background.  I used salty ocean, chipped sapphire and black sooth distress inks.

I used Copic Opaque White to draw the big star.  I also mixed it with abit of water and used an old toothbrush scatched with my thumb to make tiny stars.

Here is the closer look.  I colored them with copic markers and stamped the sentiment from This & That stamp at the bottom.  I used Glossy Accent and dot here and there for some interests.  I hope you like it. and Thank you for stopping by today.
