Dancing Like No One Is Watching

Today is Day 2 for Craftin Desert Divas August Release.  We are showcasing 2 stamp sets which are Twinkle Toes and Live, Love, Plan stamps and Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies.

This is my card for today showcasing Twinkle Toes and Inside Scalloped Rectangle dies

I was super patient when did this card as color pencils not my cup of tea but I wanted to create something different. 

Here was my planning :)

After I set the stamp scene, I began to lightly draw the surrounding scene with light gray color pencil.  I wanted the scene to cordinate with the dancing panda from Tickle Toes stamp and the sentiment.  I used Faber Castell Polychromos color pencils to do all the coloring.

I used Gamso to blend on the wood floor before I drawn the wood grain and textures with brown color pencils as well as the pink curtain behind the panda image.  

To finish it off I cut the Inside Scalloped Rectangle from white card stock and colored the frame with the closest copic markers to my panda's dress.  I used the Flag Banner dies for the sentiment banner on vellum and also colored behide the vellum with green copic markers.  I then used Nuvo Jewel Drop in Sea Breeze to accent my card.
