Welcome to the CDD January Stamp & Die Release Blog Hop.
Here's what I've created for you...
My 1st card : Kitchen Cuties
First I began to heat embossed directly on my cardbase with the Star border stamp from Across The Borders stamp set. I then cut the scallop circle from Stitched in Circle Dies and began to stamp my little soup can image from Kitchen Cuties New Release. I stacked them up as shown below.
I then colored them all in gray markers except the top can. I colored it in red to make it as a Souper Can :)
I also masked all the cans and did ink distress for my background.
I diecut one of the arrow heart from our new release Heart of Heart Dies from gold glister paper. I also stamped the sentiment on a thin strip of white cardstock.
I poped the whole panel of scallop circle on form tape and tucked in my sentiment banner beside it. I then used the heart arrow to emphasize the red souper can image.
And it's all done!

My 2nd Card : Slow
I had fun making this card. I first stamped my turtle image toward the bottom center of my card panel and then masked him off. Then I started creating my masking scene. On another cardstock I drew the hill line and my pond area. First I cut the hill line out and used the hill line to create my sky with blue ink. I then cut out the pond area and positioned it at the corner of my card with abit of repositionable glue. I then covered my sky and began to create my hill with green ink. Once the hill was done I covered the hill area and created my pond with blue ink.
I also stamped and colored the Sun image from The Sky is The Limited stamp set at the top left corner.
I used the wreath die from Stitched in Circle dies to create my water plants and did abit of embellishment with Mermaid Lagoon Sequins at the pond area.
Last but not least I colored my lovely turtle and stamped the sentiment on the hill area. I also hand-drawn the pebbles/rocks as a ground for my image and colored them in various brown and gray markers.
And TaDa... I'm done!
